Asalamu Alaikum, thank you for visiting the ICHC Services Committee Page. Alhumdulillah, with the opening of our beautiful masjid, we have looked to expand our services to the community by offering various services related to key life events. The Service Committee is responsible for helping coordinate for any events hosted at Masjid Al-Rayyan.
Our committee liaises with the masjid board as well as other committees such as Dawah, Zakat, Facilities, and Programming to ensure your events can be executed seamlessly. Masjid Al-Rayyan has had the privilege of hosting several events (Nikahs, Azza/Duas, Iftars) since its inception. Please use the contact form below to provide some preliminary details about your event and inshallah someone from our committee will reach out to you for more details. Since we are volunteer based, we ask you to give us at least a month's notice to ensure we have enough time to secure the venue for you and provide adequate support for your event. Please note, this advance booking requirement does not apply of course for funerals and the musallah does not need to be booked or paid for in the case of janazah prayers. The date is considered booked for your event once the event rental contract is signed and deposit is paid. Please work with your Service Committee point of contact to review all the details.

mASJID aL-rAYYAN (THE VENUE)
Masjid Al-Rayyan is located in the picturesque town of Flemington, New Jersey, roughly 30-40 mins from Princeton (NJ), Bridgewater (NJ) and Easton (PA). Alhumdulillah, we opened it's doors to the local Muslim community in August 2023. The Masjid architecture incorporates beautiful and intricate Moroccan tile and wood work (please see photos below as well as our Gallery for more photos). It consists of the main floor with the lobby and Musallah and a Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) in the basement used for seating and dining during events. Mashallah, we also have classrooms in the basement for our weekend Islamic School. Please see Islamic School page if interested in learning more.
The Musallah area can host up to 200-250 people and the Multi Purpose Room has a seating capacity of 175. The parking lot has a capacity of 99 spots (including reserved spots for handicap parking).
Please note that the Musallah area is always open to the community, however, we do notify the community when there is an event to respect the family's space. The Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) is closed to the community when there is an event taking place. Our volunteer are present to assist during the event with navigating your guests between spaces and any questions or concerns that arise.
