Assalaamu alaikum Parents of 1st/2nd,
We hope that you all are doing well by the grace of Allah Almighty. We would like to welcome all of you to in person Friday school this year Alhumdulillah. We are so excited to have our children back in our classrooms.
This year we will be focusing on some basic Islamic topics in a fun and interactive way. We will be learning nasheeds, short surahs, stories of the Prophets of Allah (swt) and other topics through fun crafts and activities. We will also continue to work on our Islamic manners, Arabic letters and counting this year.
The purpose of this class is to develop love for Islamic learning and help these young minds find answers to questions that they may have about Islam. Their time in Friday school will also help them build life long friendships. We strive to make Friday school a great experience for the kids.
Required Materials:
1. Student Workbook Level 2 by Mansur Ahmad and Husain A. Nuri
2. Whiteboard and marker
Expectations:
1. Be respectful of each other.
2. Since this class will only meet once a week, we plan on giving small amount of homework to reinforce what we are working on in the classroom. We appreciate your help in this matter in advance.
3. Please pack a water bottle with your child every Friday.
We look forward to see your kids in our school soon.
Jazakallahkhairan!
