REFLECTION QUESTION: WEEK 1 On Friday we talked about humanitarian crisis; how we can help and bring light to certain issues. In regards to refugees, we touched on helping a person without infringing on their dignity. What are some ways that you think refugees can be giving back their universal human rights, while still honoring their self-respect? RIVER CLEAN UP INFORMATION What: River Cleanup Where: Bull’s Island, Warsaw Road/Picnic Area 2185 Daniel Bray Hwy, Stockton, NJ 08559 When: October 16, 2021 @ 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Salaam alaikum Youth Group and Parents! We will be going to Bulls Island Recreation area to clean up alongside the water and then walk south to Point Pleasant Parking Area, picking up litter along the way. We will ride the Link bus to and from the parking lot and the designated clean up area. Students should wear long pants, sturdy footwear and bring water. Please complete the waiver which can be found here. It must be printed and signed to hand to the staff on the day of the event.
